Volunteer
It’s not all bottle babies and snuggles
OK, a lot of it is bottle babies and snuggles. But area rescues need help of all kinds. Grooming, feeding, playing — these are real, actual volunteer gigs. Whether you foster or read to cats every other Saturday, you get supplies, support, backup, and the unmatched satisfaction of being sneezed on by a two-week-old kitten.
Feeding
Bottle babies eat every 2-3 hours. Yes, including 3am. Yes, they scream.
Socialization
Play with kittens. Seriously. It's a real job. Someone has to do it.
Grooming
Flea baths, nail trims, and convincing a feral kitten that water isn't lava.
Dog Walking
Some of our foster dogs have never seen grass. Expect short walks and long stares.
Foster Support
Supply runs, transport to the vet, or just showing up with coffee and moral support.
Supply Drives
We go through kitten formula like it's going out of style. Because it literally is.
You don’t have to be an expert. You just have to be OK with getting attached.

Your guest room has a new purpose
Fostering is the thing that actually saves lives. Shelters run out of space. We run out of spare bedrooms. But somehow, someone always figures it out. We provide all the supplies, all the vet care, and an unreasonable number of group chat messages at odd hours.
You provide the couch, the patience, and ideally a door that closes. That’s it. That’s the deal.

When they’re ready, our fosters return to their rescue group socialized, vet-checked, and fully prepared to take over your furniture.
Adoptions go through our partner humane societies and rescue organizations. We get them ready — they handle the matchmaking. Check with your local rescue to see who’s available, or drop us a line and we’ll point you in the right direction.
